Safety Measures For Air Travel

Compared with the same period last year, the passenger flow at the airport has increased rapidly. Airlines have begun to increase domestic flights to prepare for the increase in passengers. Many travelers want to go to luxury resorts, or to more remote areas, where it is easier to maintain social distancing compared to busy metropolises.

The tourism industry has begun to open up. Although many people have been vaccinated in full doses, the CDC still recommends wearing masks and maintaining social distancing. Passengers who have not been vaccinated in full doses are advised to undergo virus testing in advance and conduct home isolation after travel. Passengers who will spend a few hours in a small space with strangers is the biggest crisis they need to face.

Airlines and airports have implemented a number of policies to alleviate passengers’ concerns. Airlines are evaluating this and taking additional precautions to alleviate passengers’ concerns.

Mask

Although the air inside the aircraft is disinfected and purified, some airlines still require passengers to wear masks on the aircraft.

Other areas with high contact points will be restricted during the entire flight. Even if inflight services are not cancelled for most flights, they are limited.

Be sure to check with each specific airline to understand what their inflight policy is.

Social distance policy

The airport has developed a number of policies to enforce social distancing requirements. Airports have also stepped up cleaning efforts, and some airports have also provided additional sanitation stations for passengers. Even thermal imaging cameras are used to identify passengers with COVID-19, because a common symptom of COVID-19 is fever. TSA gate staff will also measure the temperature of the guests and provide masks and hand sanitizer.
